JIVF implements “The Digital Mass Education Program”: When digital knowledge becomes a competitive strength

Historically, the Mass Education Movement achieved the miracle of eradicating illiteracy and enlightening the minds of millions of Vietnamese people. Today, amidst the wave of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), a new campaign – “Digital Mass Education“ – is being initiated, carrying the mission of universalizing digital knowledge for the entire population.

For the Banking sector – the lifeblood of the digital economy – this movement is not merely a social responsibility, but a key factor in enhancing productivity and reinforcing competitiveness.

In practice, for an enterprise to develop sustainably and keep pace with digital transformation, its workforce must first be equipped with adequate and relevant knowledge and skills. If the traditional ‘Mass Education Movement’ once brought the light of literacy to the people and contributed to poverty reduction, then today’s ‘Digital Mass Education Movement’ is a journey to popularize digital knowledge and basic digital skills for the general public, the banking sector workforce in particular, and especially the personnel working at financial companies.

The Digital Literacy Movement was launched to equip everyone with the ability to access and use technology safely, proactively, and effectively, contributing to the development of an inclusive digital society.

JIVF Responds to the Digital Mass Education Movement

In response to the emulation movement launched by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the General Director of Vietnam International JACCS Finance Company Limited (JIVF) issued Decision No. 46/2025/QĐ-JIVF on June 11, 2025. This officially implemented the emulation plan “The whole country emulates in innovation and digital transformation” and the “Digital Mass Education” movement within the unit.

Q3/2025 – Elevating the Digital Awareness Foundation

JIVF organized the training course “Overview of Basic Digital Awareness” helping employees grasp the foundations of digital transformation, digital technology, and artificial intelligence.

Concurrently, JIVF promoted internal communications, encouraging all employees to study on the national platform at binhdanhocvuso.gov.vn to improve digital capacity.

Digital transformation messages were also integrated into quarterly computer screensaver designs, helping to spread the spirit of innovation throughout the system.

Q4/2025 – Promoting Applied Digital Skills

JIVF continued to implement the training course “Exploiting Data and Digital Information” focusing on perfecting basic digital skills for employees.

Not only focusing on internal training, JIVF also enhanced the depth of knowledge by sending managers and key personnel to specialized courses on Personal Data Protection, SQL, Power BI, and Applied AI, as well as Data-Driven & AI Strategic Decision Making. These courses, held at reputable training institutions, helped expand thinking and improve the ability to apply knowledge to actual work.

Through these training courses, JIVF focuses on implementing the Digital Mass Education movement with the following key pillars:

Building a digital learning culture:

Promoting a culture of continuous learning anytime, anywhere through the strong adoption of shared digital platforms. A notable example is the Digital Mass Education online learning portal at https://binhdanhocvuso.gov.vn, which provides a comprehensive repository of basic digital knowledge and skills aligned with national standards.

Universalizing information security skills:

This is a vital task. Banking employees must master skills to identify fake news and prevent online fraud, while guiding customers on protecting digital assets and accessing the Internet safely.

Applying new technology:

Proactively updating and applying new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize processes and improve daily work efficiency.

“Digital Mass Education” is not just a slogan but an urgent national strategy. Every banking officer and employee needs to view this as an opportunity to renew themselves, improve their capabilities, and contribute more to the community. By proactively learning, using technology safely, and spreading digital knowledge, we are contributing to making Vietnam an advanced, modern, and prosperous digital nation.
