CMC Cyber Security awards top level PCI DSS certification to JACCS

On August 17, 2023, successfully meeting the stringent requirements of the payment card data security standard, International Vietnam Financial Company Limited (JIVF) has been awarded the first-year international PCI DSS security certification. The certification, version 3.2.1 at the highest level (Level 1), has been granted by CMC Cyber Security Company.

“PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) certification is a globally recognized information security standard and a mandatory requirement for businesses to store, transmit, and process payment card data.

The PCI DSS standard was formed by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC), an alliance of the world’s five largest card brands: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Financial Services, and JCB International. This standard was developed to assist card payment organizations in protecting customer data; against unauthorized intrusion and use of data. Accordingly, PCI DSS is applicable to all businesses that have data storage, processing or transmission activities to limit security vulnerabilities and the risk of information theft, while strengthening data protection on cards.

The attainment of the PCI DSS certification will propel JIVF towards advancements in implementing new business projects.
